The center in brief

The main objective of establishing the center of e-Learning at Yarmouk University is to administer online learning at all levels. Novel methods and technology are utilized to train and empower faculty in all disciplines to develop online courses, in hope to have complete online programs of all academic degrees, bachelor, diploma, masters and doctorate programs. A main part of the operations of the center is to design and develop online courses taught in Arabic language that attract students from all Arab and Islamic countries in which the population exceeds 1.5 billion people focusing on states of south Asia; Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey who are expressing an increasing interest in learning Arabic language and Islamic doctrine.

The establishment of this center copes with the strategic objectives and vision of Yarmouk University in reaching out to all students in all parts of the world. The center is still in its early stages financially but still an important step in digital transformation which will enable the university to advance where performance and investment are magnified annually based on the well-known Moore’s law that predicts the growth of technology.
