Conditions of applying for admission
** Passing the English language requirement as follows:
** The applicant must have a level successful test or equivalent (the test must be available, i.e. it is not before the date of 2/9/2018).
1. A student who has not received a successful mark in the level exam or its equivalent, or who has not applied for the examination can apply for admission, if accepted, s/he will be assigned to study the English Language Qualification program (L.g 404) by 6 credit hours.
2. The student must register the English Language Qualification program (L. g 404) in the first semester of his acceptance in the program, and pass it successfully.
3. The student may register the qualifying program and register (3) Credit hours of his/her study plan in conjunction with the course of the English Language qualification program.
4. If the student does not pass the course of qualifying program in the first semester of joining the program, he would lose his seat/fail the qualifying program in English; no other opportunity is granted.
5. During the semester and while studying (L. g 404), the student can apply for the English language level exam as follows:
* If the student passes the English language level exam and get the required mark by major before starting to study the qualifying program and before the expiry of withdrawal and addition period in his acceptance semester -according to the university calendar-, s/he is exempted from the course of qualifying program in English.
* If the student passes the English language level exam and get the required mark by major after starting to study the qualifying program, the student informs the course teacher and deanship of scientific research and graduate studies and attach a copy of the exam result, s/he is exempted from attending the course, and the mark achieved in the level exam will be as a final result of the qualifying program course, as the fees are not monitored after the period of withdrawal and addition.

* Have a bachelor's degree with at least "good" estimation or equivalent to apply for master's programs.
* Holders of a bachelor's degree with (acceptable) estimation or equivalent are allowed to apply for all master's programs, according to the decisions of the higher studies councils in the departments and concerned faculties. When accepted, the student must study (3) materials of the Masters (9 credit hours of his study plan) during the first year of the program, with success in each material with a mark of not less than 70%, and at a cumulative rate of at least 75% to become a regular student. If successful, these courses are calculated for him within the materials required in the master program that s/he accepted in, otherwise the student is dismissed from the academic major.
* If the student with an "acceptable" estimation fails in one of the courses that the section has set for him to study in the first academic year to enroll in the program, he must repeat the course that he failed during the semester that follows the semester immediately after his failure.
If the student is successful with an "acceptable" rating in all the courses that the department has set for him to study in the first academic year of his enrollment in the program, and did not receive a rate (75%), the student has the right to repeat any course of it only for the purposes of raising the rate.
* If the student with an "acceptable" estimation is not successful in all courses that the department has set for him to study in the first academic year of his enrollment in the program, and did not get a rate of (75%) and above during the first year of enrollment, the student is dismissed academically, from the major/acceptable estimate.
* A student with an acceptable estimate, who is in charge of studying the qualifying language course (L. g 404), who also must study materials from the Bachelor's level, shall be granted an exceptional semester (the third semester of his acceptance, and the summer semester of which is not counted) for the purposes of finishing the study of remedial materials, with passing the language requirement, and succeeding in the master's courses to be studied in the first year of admission at a rate of at least (75%)..
* A student with an "acceptable" estimation in the Bachelor's degree is not allowed to postpone his studies until after studying (9) credit hours of his studying program that the department has set for him/her, and succeeding with a rate of at least (75%) according to the decisions of the Higher Education Council.
* His/her study in Bachelor's degree must be "regular".
* Students with a bachelor's degree in affiliation may apply, on condition they have studied (30) hours in the qualifying program according to the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education, and attach the transcript of the qualifying program.
* Students who have a master's degree in affiliation may apply on condition that they have studied (15) hours in the qualifying program according to the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education, and attach the transcript of the qualifying program.
* Any student who lost his or her seat due to failing in the qualifying program (L. g 404) his application will not be considered if he is applied to the same major in which he lost his seat unless he brings a (successful) mark in the English Language level exam/Yarmouk University, qualifying him to study that major.
* Students who have passed the foreign language requirement exam are exempted for admission to graduate programs at Jordanian universities, when they enroll in a new master's or PhD program.

Important Notes and guidance
1. The applicant shall be liable for the authenticity of the data entered, and if any part of the data is found to be invalid, the application shall be cancelled immediately. He is not entitled to modify his application or to claim restitution of any portion of the paid payments.
2. The application is submitted electronically first, and the fee is then paid.
3. More than one application can be submitted, and the fees for each enrollment application (non-refundable) are:

4. The data will only be filled once, and if you wish to apply for more than one discipline, you should select these disciplines in the "request/follow up" list.
5. 6. You can apply for a qualifying program (L. g 404) from Jordanian universities.
7. The English language level exam is only approved by the language Center at Yarmouk University.
8. For students who are subject to the Higher Education Council Decision No. (10/1/1712) for persons with special needs (visual impairment, hearing impairment, and cerebral disability), they must obtain a report from the concerned party at the University Hospital of Jordan or King Abdullah II Hospital, with the patient's condition is approved by the Dean of Scientific research and graduate studies and is attached to the application.
9. You will not be able to change the discipline to which you want to apply, or delete it after paying a fee for this application, nor will you be able to modify the other data you have entered (background information, previous degree information, documentation, application/follow-up request).
10. The fee payment process will be available by:
* Financial department at Yarmouk University.
* Cairo Amman Bank branches in the kingdom.
* Payment must be made only during the period of submission that is declared, and the applicant will not be able to pay after the declared date.
11. Applicants who make payment through exchang must ensure that:
* The amount that will reach the Yarmouk University account is JD 15 for the Jordanian student, and ($50) for the non-Jordanian student, without deductions and interest deducted by the intermediary banks.

Important notes:·

. There is no transfer to the majors of medicine, Pharmacy, Architecture, Law, and Cyber Security, nor from one major to another within the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Conditions for submitting a transfer application from one major to another (for bachelor's students)

  • Apply for one transfer and choose only one specialty.
  • The student must not have moved from one discipline to another.
  • Not to have been dismissed from the section to which he wishes to move.
  • Applying for transfer and fulfilling the conditions does not mean that the student will move, but the vacancies must be available.

Terms of transfer from one discipline to another

First: Transfer by rate of high school and according to the reason of admission as shown below:

A- Students whose admission is competitive: their high school rate must be higher than or equal to the rate of discipline to which the student wishes to move in his/her admission year to university.

B- Students whose admission is not competitive: the rate of discipline in which the student competitively accepted should be higher than the rate of discipline to which s/he wishes to move to. Another case is if the student's rate in high school is higher than or equal to the rate of the discipline to which s/he wishes to transfer to in his/her admission year to the university.

Second: Transfer under the cumulative rate:-

In this case, the student would have studied at least (30) credit hours successfully at the university and has a numbered mark which should be entered into his study plan with a cumulative rate of at least very good at the end of the semester. This must include (9) credit hours - identified and published on the university's website - in the major that he wishes to transfer to and the mark of any of the three courses is not less than (70%).

- The old transfer system under (6 hours) system will be in operation until the end of the first semester (2018/2019) only.

Important notes:

. There is no transfer to the Faculty of Medicine.

. Students who have been accepted at the Faculty of Fine Arts cannot transfer to other disciplines on the regular program but on the parallel program.

. Students with high school rates of less than (80%) cannot transfer to the disciplines of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Hajjawi Engineering even if they meet other conditions.

. Students with school rates of less than (75%) cannot be able to transfer to the disciplines of the Faculty of Shari'a even if they meet other conditions.

· Students who wish to transfer to the Faculty of Physical Education must pass the prescribed medical examination.

. the disciplines of Child education and Class Teacher are for females only.
